Canadian Agricultural Safety Week (CASW) is a public awareness campaign focusing on the importance of farm safety. CASW takes place every year during the third week of March. In 2017, CASW takes place March 12 to 18.
This year, Canadian Agricultural Safety Week is focusing on adults under the three-year theme of “Be An AgSafe Family”. We are working hard on new resources, stories and other media kit items. New this year the is CASW 2017 Social Media Guide for #AgSafeFamily. This guide talks about how you can participate on your social media channels to reach more farmers, farm workers and farm families with our #AgSafeFamily message.
Also, new this year is our AgSafe awareness ribbon campaign. Visit agsafetyweek.ca/ribbon. You can view the AgSafe Ribbon guide, get ideas for sharing them in your organization or community and order ribbons that we will ship to you. (Minimum order of 20.)
We need you to help make CASW a success! Become an official friend of CASW. Host an agricultural safety event, place our Friend logo prominently on your website and link back to agsafetyweek.ca, use our resources and help spread the word about farm safety. In turn, we’ll place your logo on our Friends page! Check out agsafetyweek.ca/friends for more information and to download the friendship document and letter of understanding!
We are looking forward to hearing from you!
